RUMINAHUI 1 DAY

Having 3 different peaks, Rumiñahui is one of the most amazing volcanoes in Ecuador. On this tour you will reach the second peak, which has an altitude of 4757m. To reach the summit you will hike for 5 hours followed by another 2 hours to descend. If the weather conditions are good you will be able to appreciate an incredible landscape with views of Cotopaxi and nearby volcanoes. This is the perfect volcano for an acclimatization program and a first approach to altitude.

It is very important to be prepared for this kind of altitude. We recommend to be acclimatized at an altitude of around 3000m for at least one day. The weather of this area is very unpredictable, which is why you must be prepared with warm clothing.
